A Brief Update from Geoffrey

Hello friends,

I wanted to share a quick update as I slowly make my way back into the swing of things here at BlazeVOX. As many of you know, I’ve been out of commission for a bit with a significant leg injury. This past Thursday marked a small but meaningful milestone: I had 32 staples removed from my knee—yes, thirty-two! For a moment there, I looked a bit like I’d borrowed a zipper from a well-loved winter coat.

The good news is that everything is healing exactly as it should. I’m still very much in recovery mode, and that will continue into January, but each week brings improvement and a little more mobility. I’ve started easing back into work, catching up where I’m able, and doing my best to keep things moving forward for our authors and readers.

Thank you all for your patience, kindness, and support during this time. BlazeVOX has always been a community of resilience and imagination, and I’m grateful to be part of it—even if at the moment I’m hobbling through the days more slowly than usual.

More updates soon. Until then, onward!

Warmly,
Geoffrey
